PED1017 Computing Session 10

Session 10 QR codes and AR

QR codes have unlimited uses within the modern world and this can be easily applied to the primary classroom. For example, they ensure pupils are directed to specific areas of the internet, reducing the time children are unfocused on their work. Additionally, they can be used to provide the answers to questions on challenge cards and so children can work independently. More ideas surrounding teaching with QR codes can be found here.

The codes are easily created, can be different colours and can even be specifically shaped.

Augmented reality is additionally beneficial in the classroom as it is engaging for pupils and provides the opportunity for greater depth in their understanding.
